Our technical consultants have assisted wineries over many years.

Consulting Oenologist Sarah Inkersell  troubleshoots bottling line and winemaking problems.  She focuses on finding the most practical solutions for a wide range of winery issues.
General Manager Debra Hedley was trained in Applied Chemistry, and has assisted in evaluating QA/QC programs since joining Pacific Rim.

International Director Lisa Van de Water has worked with winemakers around the world since 1975, to diagnose wine problems and prevent recurrences. She is adept in evaluating winery microbiology programs to help maximise results at the most reasonable cost.

Special Lab Projects Train winery lab personnel, cross-check lab procedures, and evaluate quality control programs and testing methods and schedules.
Bottling Line Evaluation Identifying and troubleshooting the causes for non-sterile wine, including detailed on-site inspection of bottling line sanitation, evaluation of microbiological testing at bottling and recommendations for ongoing checks of wines and equipment. Our NZ Consultant Oenologist Sarah Inkersell and our US-based consultant Doug Manning both have long experience in evaluating all aspects of bottling.
Third Party Evaluation and Expert Witness Insurance claims (damage) Third party disputes, depositions and court testimony on wine quality. Lisa Van de Water has diagnosed causes of wine spoilage and other problems for over 30 years.
